Managed Services

Managed services means that we do more work proactively and less work reactively.  When our clients have issues, they are small issues that can be fixed quickly – and remotely.  The work we do prevents small problems from becoming big ones. And because we are familiar with your network, we are better able to fix your problems in a timely manner instead of spending our time (and your money) bring ourselves up to speed on your network each time.

In our early days as a company, we took on clients that preferred ongoing management as well as clients that only called us when something stopped working. We learned that customers that did not sign up for managed services called far more often and spent more money than those with ongoing support agreements.  They also experienced more downtime, more frustration, and it was hit or miss whether they had reliable backups down the road.  They limped along, employees complained about slow computers, and sometimes the office was painted into a corner when it came to compatibility and vendor support for key applications that were no longer supported on old computers.  Despite a non-existent investment in their network, equipment, and maintenance, they often felt it was the fault of their computer support company that they only called as needed.  They dealt with urgent issues far too often and we ran around, putting out fires that could have been avoided.  Nobody was happy.

Hence, we now have low-cost support agreements for all clients, and they are much happier.  And best of all, our agreements are month to month. Our clients remain clients because they are happy with our timely service, communication, and the results – not because they are trapped in an agreement.
